Kenya - A three week group adventure in Africa!
Join a 21 day volunteering social project, wildlife conservation project and climb Mount Kenya!
Our three week program is carefully designed with the concept of Christian discipleship. This will mean the opportunity to deepen one's faith by being blessed and being a blessing through volunteering, fellowshipping with the local church, meeting local people, impacting other lives as well as your own and returning with lasting memories. Volunteers begin the first stage of their program by serving some of the most underprivileged and abandoned children in Kenya. These kids need caring volunteers to emulate and education. Spending time and energy in this project will indeed prove to be a truly noble endeavour, and provide hope for a better world for these children. In the second phase, they travel to a Community Wildlife Sanctuary and volunteer in a wildlife conservation project in a wildlife corridor between a National Park.
In the third phase of the program there is a choice to engage in another very worthwhile Christian social project or we provide an opportunity to climb Mount Kenya through Sirimoni Down Chogoria Route. Sirimoni Route is much more scenic than Naromoru and is on the dry side of mountain, which offers some of the finest walking. Climb up through forest into a wide ridge approach to the summit area. The route starts on the northwest side of the mountain near Nanyuki. Access is adequate and the bunk house facilities are the best on this side of the mountain.
