The Pennwood Academy in Nepal is looking for volunteers to teach in this newly founded school catering for the whole age range. Three months preferred. Cost: Three months approximately £2000.

 

Situated in the capital Kathmandu, Pennwood Academy would like to benefit from the input of a British teacher who could offer a range of subjects. Should be able to relate to children in grades kindergarten to Grade 10 and be able to teach either English language, maths, science, environmental science, or drama, music and games (incl rounders which we play). Help with finding accommodation will be given.

Christians Abroad has not yet recruited volunteers for this project but has received a good reference from a local Christian minister.

Cost: The total cost of £2000 includes air fares, visa, insurance and the Christians Abroad administration fee. It does not include accommodation, or other living costs. Please be aware that air fares vary according to season.
