Work with young children in South India
Volunteers required to work with the children of St Antony Nursery and Primary School, in South India, run by the Unity Charitable Trust. Cost for a one month placement is approximately £2000. Three months, approximately £2500. The
overall cost is made up of air travel, visa, insurance,
the project fees which include accommodation, meals and travel to and
from the airport at Madurai, 55 km away, and a donation towards the cost of Christians Abroad
administration.
Unity Charitable Trust operates a school and an orphanage in Virudhunagar, Tamilnadu, India. Helping children with their English, dance, music and extra-curricular activities, no previous experience or qualifications needed.
This is a well-established project offering good quality accommodation and food to western volunteers. There are also opportunities for oral English work with older students.

Could I be a Volunteer?
You could be a volunteer if you are:
resident in the UK (even if temporarily), mainland Europe, the USA or Canada
an effective communicator in English
willing to work within Christian communities and support their values and interests.
single, part of a couple or parent of a family.
Could possibly raise or can afford approximately £1500.
