For people working or volunteering overseas
Do you want to keep up National Insurance payments while you are overseas? We are able to act as your agent if you are a volunteer or worker in development and mission. For many developing countries there is a special concessionary rate available
- Voluntary Development Worker - which preserves most UK benefits while you are away and is far cheaper than paying full rate in arrears when you return. You would need to be officially designated as a Christians Abroad 'volunteer'.
For more information, please look at www.hmrc.gov.uk/leaflets/nic.htm and scroll down the list of leaflets available on-line. At the bottom of the list is NI38. Click on that and the details of the scheme for those working overseas is between pages 13
and 18 - with p18 suggesting you complete a form which is on p36 and 37. Send that form to
us, see address under
contact. |
