Work with HIV/Aids Orphans, Social Work and Health Care in Kenya
The Catholic Sisters of Motobo are looking for social work and healthcare assistance in their 'LIve with Hope' Centre for orphans in central Kenya for three months or more. Cost: Three months, £1600. The total price includes air fares, visa, insurance, accommodation, meals and a donation towards the cost of Christians Abroad administration.
This project is situated in Motobo in the Kericho district of central Kenya, a major tea growing area. Volunteers are accommodated in modern housing in a protected compound with good facilities. Accommodation is free, but volunteers can buy and cook their own meals or join the sisters for communal meals. Most travelling is by foot between villages and the Centre.

Could I be a Volunteer?
You could be a volunteer if you are:
resident in the UK (even if temporarily), mainland Europe, the USA or Canada
an effective communicator in English
willing to work within Christian communities and support their values and interests.
single, part of a couple or parent of a family.
Could possibly raise or can afford approximately £1500.

What work would I do?
