School Administration, Church Leadership, Music Tutors in Nigeria

altBishop Ede from the Nigerian Methodist Church is looking for volunteers in the fields of musical instrument tuition, school administration and institutional management and administration. There is also a need for an experienced person to help develop sustainable rural livelihoods, working with the Methodist care ministry among the poor and needy. Immigration papers, transport, accommodation and tourist opportunities will all be provided. A six month commitment is preferred. Cost: three months, £2200; six months £2800. The total price includes air fares, visa, insurance, accommodation, meals and a donation towards the cost of Christians Abroad administration.

Teaching Music

Volunteers who could teach string, woodwind, brass and percussion – or any combination of these – for a 3 to 6 month period.

School Administrators

Experienced male or female school administrators are urgently needed who are willing to give at least six months to one year to help reorganise schools and colleges. Volunteers must be Christians with a very high sense of discipline. They must be willing to work alongside principals of both the senior and junior schools.

Management and Institutional Administration Trainer

A trainer in management and institutional administration is needed to help in training ministers in these areas. Experience in development admin, project management, proposal writing, grant acquisition, human resource management, project monitoring and supervision, and IT based office management are areas needing help.
