Opportunities For Short Term Self Funded Volunteer
The Kachimbeka Project in northern Malawi is seeking a Christian administrator with experience in development work for a minimum of one year. Overall cost for one year approximately £3000.
The Anglican diocese of Mara in Tanzania requires a volunteer with experience in development and fundraising to help train the Christians in the parishes on Development and Discipleship issues. One year minimum. Approximate cost for one year is £4500.
GDQ International School is seeking Christian teachers for Levels 1 – 13. Situated in the capital Tirana, modern facilities and a modest housing allowance are available. The basic cost for one term would be approximately £2500.
R.V.O-Ghana is dedicated to providing meaningful and affordable volunteer projects across the length and breath of Ghana in the areas of health, volunteering, community development and education. The cost for a month’s placement is £2000, for three months, £2500.

United Action for Children needs volunteers to teach in nursery/primary schools, organize sports activities, assist in a ‘School on Wheels’ project in villages, teach basic computer, help in fundraising and help in office work. The cost for one month is £1800 and for three months £2200.
The Foundation for Rural Development and Action Research provides a variety of development projects that volunteers can help implement, including health, childcare, education, construction and office administration. The cost for one month is £1800, for three months £2500.
“Africa 2000” is seeking a male volunteer to help set up viable local production and manufacturing companies using local produce in Akinale village, sixty miles from Lagos the capital. There is also a need for assistance with bid writing.
Wa Watoto orphanage in northern Tanzania is hoping for more volunteer help with their 70 orphaned children. One month would cost approximately £2000, three months £2800.
