As a Christians Abroad Associate Volunteer the services available to you are the same as if you were appointed directly to your post overseas by Christians Abroad.

The benefits available to you are

1. Preparation can be tailored to your particular needs and provided  before you leave from your home country for your appointment internationally by mentored distance learning.

2. Christians Abroad's support services are available to you before you travel, whilst overseas and when you return.

3. If you purchase Travel Insurance through Christians Abroad with Endsleigh or aCL, policies can be modified to meet your particular needs and support can be given in liaison with the insurance company if you have to make a claim to the insurance company.

4. Christians Abroad can act as your agent for the low rate Voluntary Development Worker National Insurance contributions if you are working in a developing country as a volunteer, mission or development worker.

 AND

5. You have access to an online forum to share experience and learn from other's experience as an international volunteer

A contribution of £25.00 per annum as a donation to Christians Abroad would help subsidise the administration costs of providing this service.

As an Associate you might be eligible for paying Voluntary Development Worker National Insurance contributions, a lower rate contribution whilst you are serving internationally. However, only certain countries are eligible..they have to be considered as a 'developing country' for the purpose of HM Revenue and Customs.
