The Catholic Sisters of Motobo are looking for social work and healthcare assistance in their 'LIve with Hope' Centre for orphans in central Kenya for three months or more. Cost: Three months, £1600.
This project is situated in Motobo in the Kericho district of central Kenya, a major tea growing area. Volunteers are accommodated in modern housing in a protected compound with good facilities. Accommodation is free, but volunteers can buy and cook their own meals or join the sisters for communal meals. Most travelling is by foot between villages and the Centre.
Cost: The total price includes air fares, visa, insurance, accommodation, meals and the Christians Abroad administration fee.
