Christians Abroad is a support organisation for volunteering and partnering in mission and development overseas. It provides opportunities for service as a volunteer, an associate volunteer or a longer term mission associate.. It provides a range of support services to volunteers and mission partners including insurance. LONGER TERM OPPORTUNITIES: 

ADMINISTRATOR: ST. PHILIP'S THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE, KONGWA, TANZANIA

The position requires a close working relationship with the College Principal and Accountant. Managing the college finances, liaising with sponsors regarding the payment of fees, and applying to donors for bursaries and funding. The administrator is also required to work closely with all other members of staff and general workers, helping maintain student records, overseeing the purchasing and distribution of food to the students and helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the college. A volunteer position but a furnished house is provided on the college campus. You will assisted by the Principal in your applicaiton for a resident's visa and a work permit. TEACH OVERSEAS FOR A YEAR OR MORE IN KITWE, ZAMBIA - ENGLISH, COMPUTER SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, ART

The Centre for Christian Missions (CCM), www.ccmzambia.org , needs specialist teachers to help with their well run and well resourced primary department. The free accommodation is very good and on site and an additional allowance will be provided of approximately 100 US$ a month to meet basic expenses, otherwise the placement is self funded. An estimate of the cost of preparation, insurance, air fares and visa requirements would be approximately £2000 in the first year. This exceptional opportunity to work as a Christian making a contribution to the life of the Christian community in Zambia in an impoverished community but in a safe and protected environment is available to trained teachers either seeking sound early experience overseas in a developing country or contributing their skills and experience following early retirement. if you are interested please e-mail support@cabroad.org.uk with your telephone number and Colin will be in touch to talk it through with you.

INSURANCE FOR TRAVELLERS AND MISSION PARTNERS VISITING OR WORKING IN CHRISTIAN PROJECTS INTERNATIONALLY

If you have questions about insurance provision; we can help answer your questions and look for solutions to help you manage risk. You might be concerned about the security of your home whilst overseas and woudl welcome house insurance. You might need travel, baggage  emergency, health and accident insurance (up the age of 85 yrs old). You mgiht be working in areas where the risks are higher and your ministry takes you to places which the FCO has an advisory warning.
