Christians Abroad is an agency of the Churches Together in Britain and Ireland and, as such, is recognized as working on behalf of the churches at their request. In this respect in 2009 we worked closely with the Methodist Church on various projects and with an ecumenical group, BIATG, to help recruit teachers for China. The present day objects of Christians Abroad are to Inform, Connect and Enable participation in international development and Christian mission by people of any faith or none. Our belief is that anyone can contribute to God's mission within Christian sponsored projects by supporting community and working for development.
