Help develop a rural community in Malawi
The Kachimbeka Project in northern Malawi is seeking a Christian administrator with experience in development work for a minimum of one year. Overall cost for one year approximately £3000. The overall cost includes air fares,
visa, insurance, food and accommodation and a donation towards the cost of Christians Abroad
administration. Air fares may vary according to season.
Working in the rural Mikule community, the volunteer would undertake a range of administrative and development work, helping to improve and expand environmental and agricultural projects. Knowledge of how to give support and guidance on identifying fund raising opportunities, grant writing and proposal development is important.
The Mikule community is on the doorstep of Nyika National Park and other tourist attractions.
Please note: Christians Abroad has not yet recruited any volunteers for this project, but it has been recommended by a local Christian minister.
