As a Christians Abroad volunteer or an Associate Volunteer, you have the resources of Christians Abroad at your disposal. We would like to offer you preparation that matches your needs and requirements. If you have any doubts in the choices below, accept that aspect of the programme. The programme consists of booklets which will hopefully direct your thinking and help raise questions that are important to think about before your departure. You may like to make notes as you read these booklets in the comfort of your own home or over a coffee at Costa or wherever it makes sense for you. One of our consultants who has had considerable experience of working overseas him or herself will talk through the content and highlight any issues that may need further work after you have finished working you way through. Usually this happens by making an arrangement by e-mail for a video skype call or ordinary telephone call.Each booklet takes about 1-2 hours to work through thoroughly. We hope that you will find this helpful. You are encouraged to help us improve this programme by making suggestions before,  during or after your placement.
