Help develop education and training for women in Nepal.
Internationally recognised RUWON Nepal has placements for volunteers for one month or more. Activities include fundraising, networking, proposal writing, report and article writing and teaching English as well as training for youth and women. One month would cost approximately £1800, three months approximately £2200.
The overall cost is comprised of the return air fare, health and travel insurance, visa, food and accommodation fees and a donation towards administrative costs for Christians Abroad.

Help with Rural Development Projects in Uganda
The Foundation for Rural Development and Action Research provides a variety of development projects that volunteers can help implement, including health, childcare, education, construction and office administration. The cost for one month is £1800, for three months £2500. The
total cost includes air fares, visa, health and travel insurance,
accommodation, meals and a donation towards the cost of Christians
Abroad administration.
Serve the Community in Kenya

Community Services Foundation provides a range of services to the poor in Mombasa, Kenya. Volunteers with medical skills especially needed. One month would cost £1800, three months would cost £2500. The total cost includes air fares, visa, insurance, accommodation and the Christians Abroad administration fee. Please note: air fares vary according to season.
Help with Community Projects in India
Voluntary Service for Peace organises cross-cultural camps for adults and children in a variety of environments across South India and also runs an orphanage. One month’s placement costs approximately £2000, three months would cost approximately £2400. The
total cost is made up of air fares, visa costs, insurance, project fees
covering food, accommodation etc and a donation towards the cost of
Christians Abroad. Please note: air fares vary according to season

resident in the UK (even if temporarily), mainland Europe, the USA or Canada
an effective communicator in English
willing to work within Christian communities and support their values and interests.
single, part of a couple or parent of a family.
Could possibly raise or can afford approximately £1500.

What work would I do?
As a volunteer you might work with
Poor communities in Eastern Europe, Latin or Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Pacific
Not for profit organisations such as schools, community projects and hospitals.
Projects supported by local Christian communities.
Your age, qualificaiton, skills and experience will be matched with the work that you can do.
